5 DIY’s To Add Autumn To Your Home Fall is finally here! The leaves are beginning to change, the weather is getting cooler and it’s time to start decorating to celebrate! Check out these fun and easy DIY’s to make your home festive for fall.

1. Sweater Candle Holders

Put old sweaters or thrift store finds to good use! Simply cut the sleeves off of an old sweater and place them around your favorite fall scented candle. You can decorate it even further by adding some fake fall leaves and colored yarn!

2. Wheat Accents

Add some of the fall changes to the inside of your home! Gather a few uniform wheat stalks and bundle them with twine, yarn, or anything rustic. This neutral accent goes well on a mantel or table to great a rustic fall autumn feel. See how here.

3. Painted Pumpkins

Of course pumpkins of any kind are perfect decorations! Spice things up a bit and paint your pumpkins! This is actually a great craft idea to do with the kids as well! There are multiple spray paint options such as glitter, gold, or silver. Pick out your favorite and spray away!

4. Hanging Center Piece

While we love to create elaborate center pieces for our tables, especially for big events like Thanksgiving, they can get in the way! Try a hanging center piece or mobile. Hang leaves from clear string or other garland from lights above the table or learn to create your own fall mobile here.

5. Fall Wreaths

Making a wreath for any season is so simple and looks fantastic! Head to your nearest craft store and pick out foam or grape vine wreath and some accents.
